I added some Valentine decor to the mantle in our bedroom. I found this vintage velvet rose picture at a yard sale last summer...$2...It was love at first sight! |
I added a pink rose swag to the top of the picture... |
This is a sweet cherub clock and candle holders that belonged to my mom... |
It is one of my treasures that she left me. |
These are some Home Interior sconces that I have had a long time...and I added matching vintage plates. |
Some of my anniversary plate collection seemed perfect for Valentines Dau! |
You have seen this lamp in many of my posts...its one of my favorites. My mom and dad bought it when they were on a trip to San Diego in 1950. |
I strung an AMOUR banner across the front of the fireplace....made by moi! |

Penny, I have a question for you. Has anyone else told you that they have difficulty readying your blog...It is huge and overlaps on my computer. None of the other blogs do this so I was wondering if it was a setting of yours. I love to come visit, but I really can't see everything.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visits...I want you to see everything! I think I have it fixed...Diana helped me! Hugs, Penny
DeletePenny, i 'm here again...sorry but i love to see your home!!!Everything is amazing, very romantic as usual. You are great!!!

Hi Penny, your bedroom looks soooo elegant and romantic ;)
ReplyDeleteI love dropping by for a visit ;)

So pretty, Penny. Your blog does not appear oversized on my screen but your pictures are a size too big (I think that's what it is) because they cover up your sidebar (or part of your picture disappears). I think that is what CK is talking about. The layout that you are using only works with pictures size to medium (or maybe large) but not extra large)...just a thought- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana! I think I got it fixed...I had got some suggestions that they would like to see more detail in my photo's. So, I upped (is that a word? lol) my picture size! Hugs, Penny
DeletePenny, I love the quilt on the bed, it is so gorgeous. And the anniversary plates, for 30 and for 5. xo
ReplyDeleteLove your banner--everything looks pretty. You are the Queen of seasonal decorating!
ReplyDeletePenny, I am glad I am not the only one who changes the tree for Valentines Day. Everything is lovely as usual.

ReplyDeleteI don't HAVE a blog, but really enjoy reading them and I am SO glad to see how many lovely things you have that your Dear Mother left to you. It is very heartwarming to see how she is being honored by you! I also have many, many things that belonged to my Mother, and think of her DAILY when walking through a room and seeing these things. Bless you! Donna
