I displayed some of my collection of tea strainers in a pretty pink bowl. I married the pink bowl to an iron candle holder with swans on it. |
I put the rest of my tea strainers in this McCoy dish....I have some extra silverware displayed in a blue Mason jar that I embellished. |
This is our new display cabinet that H bought at a yard sale for $5....H has great taste! |
H was sweet enough to paint it for me this morning so I would have it for this post.. He has a whole table of stuff that he is working on! |
I put a cloche in a cloche...lol...and added some more of my new dishes to the vignette. |
I love the new look of our dining room... |

I love so many things about this post. The tea strainer collection is lovely and I love the mason jar full of tea spoons. How creative and sweet. Your new white cabinet is lovely and suits the room perfectly. How nice to have a man that understands when you need to have a new treasure painted and put into use. I think the sweetest thing is your blackboard sign for tea-time. So inviting and so cute. A very welcoming and pretty display of all your lovely tea-things. Would I love to sit and have tea with you? Youbetcha! Deb
ReplyDeleteEverything is lovely. I have a crocheted doily with the roses that sit on top like yours. What a treasure!

Oh wow, everything is so beautiful. I love the gorgeous aqua china too, and the cloche in a cloche, how fun is that. Thanks tons for joining the party. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteThis tablescape brought back many memories for me. My Mother had similar aqua dishes because our Kitchen in my childhood home was turquiose as it was called back in the 60's! I guess this is why I am so attracted to "aqua" . This is such a stunning post filled with so much eye candy...
Love the chalk board in your pass through ( that is your pass through , right?) Adore the aqua doilies and linens...
I have the same tea pot with the pink flowers and your collection of tea strainers is amazing!
Love the newly refinished wall cabinet!! And love the lace around the mason jar!! And most of all, I adore those dishes!!
Beautiful, beautiful!!
Hugs,
Debbie

Hi, wow how absolutely stunning your tea time tablescape looks! It is so pretty and I love that the display cabinet was only $5 and it looks so pretty painted. I love all the pictures you took of your dinning room. Great job! I saw it at Kathe with an E.
