H screwed together some old screen windows that we had.... |
I rounded up a few hens and a bunch of Roosters.... |
I wanted the coop to have curtains... a chicken feeder...and, a vintage silver tray blackboard sign. |
Opposite the chicken coop is a three wheel bicycle and an old tricycle. |
One of the chickens is nesting in the bicycle basket and there is a birdhouse on the seat. I have added a few touches of red, white, and blue to celebrate the 4th... |
The roosters have spread up onto the deck..... |
they are even up on the table.... |
H mounted some birdcages on the four posts on the deck ....now I need to get busy and decorate them! |
I love my new coop.... |
and now have a "chicken ranch" |

That is as cute as could be and much less work than my chicken coop!
ReplyDeleteHi and wow you really used your imagination with creating this chicken coup. It looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteJulie from julieslifestyle.blogspot.com
I love the shutters on that chicken coop! Too bad you can't have real ones there. I also didn't even notice the kitten in the pic with the wreath until I read the caption! So cute. Thanks for sharing this at the DIY Sunday Showcase!
ReplyDeleteJust love your chicken coop!
ReplyDeleteCute, but nothing beats the real thing! :) You should start some petitions in your area to change your codes. Many cities are doing that. In Boise we were allowed to have 3 hens, the city bumped it up to 7 or 8 after citizens organized about that. Everyone should be able to provide themselves with some food, especially as time progresses. Just an idea. Nancy @ Little Homestead in Boise
ReplyDeleteOh this is so cute! I love it!
