The cabinets in the kitchen are getting a fresh coat of paint ( same color) but it is sure taking more time than I thought it would to get them all painted! I am also changing the vignettes on the counters and the window treatments.

I was at an estate sale a few weeks ago and purchased several white aprons. It was a very large sale as the home was over 10,000 square feet and completely full of the owners possessions. The owners must have had several people on staff as there were tons of white aprons. I thought the aprons would make a cute curtain over the sink in the kitchen. |
I took down the dried rose and lace "valance" that was over the window and also the rose swag that was hung above the window frame.. |
I tied a fabric ribbon bow to each apron pocket and tucked a little excelsior in the pocket. |
The cute black board easel on the counter came from Kirkland's. |
I can use it so many ways......as a black board.....it can hold a wooden sign....or even hold a pretty picture. It's uses are only limited by your imagination! |
I added some of the packing excelsior to a wire basket of white dishes. Excelsior can be purchased at Joann's in the floral department. |
At the far end of my vignette is a ceramic rooster that I have altered by painting his comb pink....to match my kitchen...lol! You can get enamel paint that looks like ceramic at any local craft store. |
