Between yard sales, 80% off sales and shopping my house, I was able to give the kitchen a fresh new summer look ....and stay within my budget. |
I have the island bar set for breakfast with my new 80% off plates and coffee cups from HL. The aqua place mats are a yard sale purchase. |
I shopped the house for my silverware, napkins, rings, table runner, and salt & pepper shakers. |
Left is before..............................right is after |
I put my other yard sale sheep on the counter. There was a pig on the left that I replaced with a silk bouquet of flowers. |
I really liked the pattern on the pieces that I bought......kind of reminds me of the Mackenzie Childs line of accessories. |
I think that sun flowers just sing summer..... |
I found three soup//cereal bowls and a pretty ceramic plate. The selection was limited, but I found enough pieces to add color to the kitchen. |
Before..........................................after |
This wooden rooster tray was $60, but only $12 on sale. |
I only found one sheep saucer, We are going to Lubbock later this week and I will check their HL to see if they have any additional pieces in the 80% off isle. |
Sheep are usually considered spring decor, but I think the sunflowers make them summer decor....don't you? |
What a pretty vignette. I think lambs fit in anywhere. They are so cute. Love all of your frugal purchases. Just think how much money you saved! LOL

Kitchen accessories make life convenient and leave their mark on the taste and quality of the cooked and served food. A kitchen is like a work place that requires right tools in the form of utility appliances and cooking and serving items. Besides, decoration accessories are needed to add to the kitchen's value as an important part of the house.
