Our daughter is getting married in October, so I thought some blingy pumpkins would look nice as part of the table decor at the reception. |
What better fabric to use for my pumpkins than a wedding dress that I bought a few weeks ago at a yard sale. |
The lady at the sale let me have the dress for $15. I have made one medium and four small pumpkins so far and I still have lots of fabric left . |
I love dried flowers and I'm sure we will use some of them at the wedding. |
What a gorgeous idea for the gown Penny, the pumpkins are beautiful. It will be fun seeing what other projects you come up with for the gown.

ReplyDeleteHi Penny,
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of pumpkins made from wedding dresses for a wedding. I bought some gorgeous ones from a lady on Etsy last year and decorated at Thanksgiving with them in a silver ornate metal basket on my dining table. A friend of mine gave me about a dozen wedding dresses so I plan on making more pumpkins and other creative things with the material.
Sincerely,
Sandi Biquet
