Blingy Fabric Pumpkins

Our daughter is getting married  in October,  so I thought some blingy pumpkins would look nice as part of the table decor at the reception.  

What better fabric to use for my pumpkins than a wedding dress that I bought a few weeks ago at a yard sale.

The lady at the sale let me have the dress for $15.

   I have made one medium and four small pumpkins so far and I still have lots of fabric left .

 

It is cloudy and rainy here in New Mexico today so not much light is coming in the sky lights or windows.    I took the photo's in the kitchen where there is plenty of light.

I wanted to show you the progress I've made with my dried flowers.   The large enamel pot was empty at the start of summer and it's almost full now.

I love dried flowers and I'm sure we will use some of them at the wedding.

I still have lots to do before the wedding and I will do more posts as I get the decor made.
