| I've never really thought of lights for fall, but what the heck.....let's go for it. I tried something new (for me) by adding garland to icicle lights. I tied strips of lace, net, and fabric to my string of lights. |

| I left the birdcages up that I had put on the mantle earlier in the summer and just added fall to them. |

| I put owls and cloth pumpkins that I made inside the birdcages. |
 |
| I put a small bouquet of flowers on each end of the mantle....some are silk and some are roses that I made from fabric. I also added a pine cone to each bouquet for a touch of fall. |

| I also added fall touches to the piano, but that's another post...lol! |

| I put all kinds of owls in the birdcages and on the mantle..... |

| I bought this tall owl in the 80% off isle at HL about a month ago..... |

| I even have a pine cone owl with a home made nest and marble egg in his cage. |

ReplyDeleteI love your new Fall Mantel. The lights make it look so wonderful. I have lights on my mantel all year, they even stay on during the day. Love the way lights look on anything. Your owls are fabulous

The rugs were bought at Penney's last year in answer to your question.
I am itching to decorate for Fall but i usually wait until after Labor Day but it is late this year so i may start soon.....
