Between shopping for school clothes and stuff for our daughters upcoming wedding,  I didn't have much time to go to very many yard sales.

In a previous post,  I showed you a wedding dress that I had bought that week end and mentioned in the post that I had bought a second wedding dress that I would show you later.....well,  later is today.   I  picked up this lovely dress for $20.....

It has beautiful bead work,  gorgeous lace and also came in a nice box.

I already have too many vintage mixers,  but I couldn't pass up this one for $4....might try to paint it pink!

I can always use vintage luggage in my booth.     It is unusual for me to find 3 pieces that match so I was happy to see these old leather ones in one place.

I've never seen a Bible for sale that I didn't want to bring home with me.....

This one is really large and could someone part with it...for a dollar?  ( It even has family history recorded in it.)

I found several nice pieces of silver.    I like to pick up odd silver lids to use as burner covers on the stove.

The pretty covered box contains a bunch of vintage buttons.   I bought it at the auction a few weeks ago for $2.50 and had forgot about it until we emptied out the trunk of the car today.

Have a great day and come back soon!

  1. You found some great items! Can't believe that Bible, but my family Bible will probably be sold when I die, it seems my boy's just don't treasure the same things that I do. Have a super week! Blessings, Cindy

  2. Those old silver lids look adorable on top of pumpkins. I use all sizes on different size pumpkins. I also collect crystal and glass tops for the pumpkins.....of course you would have to remove the stem from the pumpkins....❤️❤️❤️

  3. Penny,
I so love seeing what you find as I am no longer going to yard sales and estate sales. I
have been working at cleaning and purging the kitchen and Joe took 3 computer paper boxes filled with dishes, pots and pans and gadgets up to our church for the Flea Market. Now I am going through cook books and other things.
Love the wedding gown. they are usually now that cheap around here. And I also love the vintage suitcases. I would love to see more pictures of your booth too so please think about that for future posts???

  4. You find such great bargains!!! That vintage mixer and the luggage were steals!!! Good for you!!!

  5. it is sad that someone would get rid of a bible with family history in it, but I am just sentimental like that, my daughter didn't get that so maybe all my stuff will be sold off cheap after I die

  6. I lOVE LOVE LOVE that mixer!!!! Great post!!!! Thanks for linking up at the Marvelous Monday Blog Hop! :-)

  7. Nice haul! What a deal on the dress!! I hope to see the pink mixer in the future. #merrymonday

  8. I want to go junkin with you! What fabulous finds! Someday when I retire I will be able to hit all the sales and maybe score some fantastic stuff like this! Some day!

  9. I think this might be my favorite junkin' trip of yours. I just LOVE the luggage and the Bible is absolutely precious. Thanks for joining Roses of Inspiration. Enjoy your week. Hugs!
