Those little fairy garden pieces are pretty pricey, so this year I went to the Dollar Tree to see what they had to put a Halloween fairy garden together in a hurry for cheap...lol! |
I used my big bread dough trough as the container for my fairy garden. |
I found these cute skeleton's at Dollar Tree. There were several of them on a garland, so I cute them "loose" and scattered them around the garden. |
The Dollar Tree also had little cardboard houses that I thought would work well in my garden. |
The houses have a different scene on each side, so if you turn them just right, each one will make a different house.... |
I used the big castle that was in my spring and fall garden to make a "Haunted Castle" I already had the arched gate, big book, and curved stone fence, but the rest are from Dollar Tree. |
This little ceramic house is Dollar Tree as are the scarey creatures around the garden. |
My birdhouse condo sits next to the fairy garden, so I gave it a few touches of Halloween. The Ghostly Greetings sign at the top was purchased several years ago at Dollar Tree.. |
The black birds also came from Dollar Tree..... |
The Happy Haunting sign and the black furry owls.....Dollar Tree! |
As you can see thru the door in the sun room, it is still pretty and green here in Eastern New Mexico. Not any sign of a frost in the near future ( according to the weather channel) |
Left is the spring fairy garden......................right is the fall fairy garden |
The container for the spring and fall fairy garden was an old guitar case. |
I added lights to my Halloween fairy garden. |
See how the lights will stay where ever you put them with no support? |
