First I want to wish everyone a happy first day of Spring!
There was a huge antique auction Saturday....lots of goodies! I didn't buy a lot....saving my money for our trip to Round Top later this month...lol!
I decided to take the three chenille spreads that I bought at the auction out on the porch so I could get some good clear photo's.....then I thought I should bring out my bunnies that are dressed in chenille.....one thing leads to another! |
So, before I knew it there was a whole family of chenille bunnies outside...... |
You have seen them all before, and when I'm done taking pictures they will go back in the house where they were! |
The chenille spreads will all go back in the house too....for safe keeping...... |
I have a spring scarecrow lady on the porch to welcome guests in. I have noticed big flowers in the stores this spring, so I dug out this one that I bought about 20 years ago! I'm hoping the other big rose will show up someday in my flower storeroom out in the studio......maybe when I organize my flowers...hahahah! |
I don't know if I've shared this design with you before, here it is again if I did...lol! |

We have had cold temps. here this weekend with low's in the 20's and high's only in the 30's but thankfully, the snow predicted for the Northeast is missing us!! Temps. close to 70 though by the end of the week! Crazy weather!!

Your chenille bunnies are so cute arranged on your bedspreads. You must have a lot of fun decorating for each holiday. Your yard looks so springlike. We are getting a snow storm today. I can't wait for the leaves on the trees to bud and the grass to turn green. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day. Happy Spring!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure my Nan had a couple of bedspreads a lot like your pink one, When I was little and would sleep over at their house I used to love sitting up in bed in the morning following the lines with my finger. What lovely memories, thanks.

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your chenille bedspreads. I obviously had a very deprived childhood because my chenille spread was just white. I still have it and use it periodically.
