I only had a handful of the knobs that I bought years ago, so I filled in with odds and ends. New knobs on the left.......old knobs on the right |
Now I'm on the lookout for pink pulls to match the new knobs. |
Left photo shows new...................right photo shows old |
Left new.....................right old |
The old rose knobs had a few green leaves on each knob and have been earmarked for another pending project. |
New on the left......................................old on the right |
Now for an update on the hallway. |
The cream color that has been there for about 6 years has been replaced with a crisp white paint. Sherwin Williams.....Greek Villa......eggshell finish |
The carpet has been removed. You can see in the photo on the right how much dirt was under the carpet.....about 25 years accumulation! |
Here is a sneak peek at the new flooring....... |
Be back soon with the Hallway reveal! Please visit my side bar to see "Where I Party" and stop by and visit a few of these great blogs! |
Love your pink rose knobs. My Mom was a pink person before pink was so popular. She had an antique curved sofa with wooden arms and legs and had it upholstered in pink toile. She always loved pink and every time I read your blog I think how much she would have loved all of your pink and frilly things.

ReplyDeleteHi Penny! Those knobs are perfection - and my gosh, you really got a fabulous deal. I'll bet you are excited about your hall flooring. Your sneak peek looks beautiful. Jane
ReplyDeleteI saw 4, plain pink knobs at a yard sale this weekend and thought of you but didn't get them. Didn't know if you were looking for more. Laurene
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a pink person, but I love your rose knobs. Thanks for keeping us up to date! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteAmazon has both pink knobs and rose shaped knobs. I have some pink glass knobs from their in both my bathroom and powder room. I have also used smaller clear knobs as glued feet on containers. They really add a sparkle. The containers I used were the drawers from old treadle sewing machines. I painted the drawers. Love the way they turned out. Plan to do on more containers.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a pretty and girly kitchen, Penny. So lovely to cook in, I bet. I love glass knobs too. The rose garland is really pretty above the cabinets. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeletePenny, those pink knobs are so sweet! I love them with your soft pink cabinets. Pink has always been a favorite of mine but I haven't incorporated it in decor much. Might have to change that in our next house. :)
