Santa in a Chair

I couldn't think of any other way to describe these Santa's for my post title .....other than Santa in a Chair!

These Santa chairs are a yard sale find of mine several years ago.

I Googled plastic Santa heads and came up with nothing,  but I think you could make a Santa face from sculptured panty hose if you wanted to try to make your own Santa in a chair.

There is so much fun detail on my Santa Chairs......

Pom pom trim.....cloth wrapped packages......and I added a few touches of my own to the existing chairs.

The Santa chair on the right had to have some repairs done this year.

His face had come loose from the back of the chair so I was able to get a good look at the construction.    His flat plastic face was hot glued to the top back wooden slat on the chair.

My chairs are done in a western theme so I created floral designs in a pair of boots to add to the side of my chair.

I also added a large greenery spray to the right side of the chair.

One of the packages in his lap is wrapped in cowhide.....

I added some Christmas greenery to the plain Magnolia wreath that I bought at Hobby Lobby this past summer.

I made a bow for the top of my wreath from black and white buffalo check material that was left over from decorating  the fireplace mantel and Christmas trees that are nearby in the family room.

I also added some blush color glittered leaves.....

Michaels has these leaves on sale this week......

I have a fun design on the table below my Magnolia wreath.

My cool cat cookie jar kitty couple are bringing home a Christmas tree for the holidays.....

Purr....................

I placed some pink balls and a cute pig in the greenery under the wreath.......

I like vignettes that make me smile...don't you?

If you look thru the window out into the backyard,   you can see that the grass is still green and the days are warm here in Eastern New Mexico.     I was looking at the weather channel today and I think we are in for some cooler weather this week end.....maybe some rain.....or even a little bit of snow!
