I wanted to share the MacKenzie Childs style tablescape that carries on the theme that you saw on the buffet in an earlier post. |
Most of my photo's were taken while the Daffodils were in the center piece. |
I used foil bunnies in the vignette on the buffet, so that's what I used on the tablescape. |
I used a mix of foil eggs and the cottage style fabric eggs that I made .....here's a link to that post if you want to make some......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2017/03/cottage-style-easter-eggs-from-fabric.html |
The entire centerpiece is created on a large gold tray |
Now, let's take a look around the table..... |
The only black and white checked plates I found (that I could afford...lol) were some paper plates from Amazon. |
I used pink plates with a gold bunny on them for the dessert....and square aqua plates with white bunnies on them for the salad. |
Can you mix paper plates with your gorgeous gold tea set....I think so! |
My tea set belonged to Mother ......this is the marking on the bottom. |
I made this table runner from Mary Englebreit fabric several years ago and thought the touches of black and white in it would work with my MC themed tablescape. |
This tablescape was so much fun to create......very much out of my comfort zone of pink and cream! |

ReplyDeleteGreat job ! Looks beautiful! So fun !
ReplyDeleteEverything is adorable. I really love the foil bunnies. Do you know how they're made? The only foil bunnies I know about are the chocolate covered ones found at Easter. haha
ReplyDeleteYour easter tablescape looks so pretty. I especially love the centerpiece and the foil bunnies

You make everything look so lovely! I bet the parties you host make people feel special!
ReplyDeletePenny, you could never tell this is out of your comfort zone. It is absolutely an adorable table, every inch! I resisted the foil bunnies for years because I thought I just couldn't start yet another grouping, but last year I finally broke down and bought one. This year I added a couple of more. I think they make a stunning statement. Yours certainly do! You have an adorable assortment. Love the little guy with the cart. Did you find any this year? If so, will you share the source?
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm a MacKenzie-Childs fan as well as a Mary Engelbreit fan. Mix the two anytime for me! Your paper plates are perfect for this table. I've not seen the black and white check paper plates so will have to check on Amazon. One trick I've used on occasion is to put a clear glass plate atop the paper plate. I think my set of glass plates were edited out when we were thinking of a move. They are easy and inexpensive to find though.
Thanks for sharing this adorable table. Happy Spring!
Your dining room looks beautiful! I especially like the gold tea set that belonged to your mother. The gold touches against the pink really make a gorgeous table setting.
