Metal Sheep Planter

I found the cutest metal sheep planter over the week end,  and she quickly found a home in the flower bed by the studio.

H  moved the boy/girl fountain from another area of the yard to this flower bed today.    It's so relaxing to hear it when we are sitting in our lounge chairs that are nearby.

Before I tell you all about my sheep planter,   I wanted to share a little info about this area of the back yard
There are several out buildings in the southwest corner of the yard,     The big one on the right is the studio.    It used to be a double garage,   that's why there is so much concrete in front of it.    We didn't really need another two car garage and you had to enter it from the alley,   so we took out the door and H installed three sets of French doors.    We also added heat and air conditioning.

Behind the studio is an uncovered area where we store.....well,  to be honest.....stuff we don't want to be out in plain sight!    H also has a 12 X 14 Tuff shed behind the studio too where he keeps his tools.
On the left side of the studio is the tea room that H made from vintage doors and windows.   Here is a link to a tour of the inside of the tea room if you would like to see it.......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2015/05/tea-room-tour.html

Now for the info on the sheep planter.     I was hoping one of the white hanging baskets would sit in my sheep planter,  but they were all too big so I sat a smaller potted Boston fern in her.

She has a sweet little face and a cute tail that you can see in a photo further down the page.

In this flower bed I have a metal armed thingy that I can hang plants on.    I don't remember where I got it .....have had it many years.
I also sat a metal wheel barrow in the flower bed  and filled it with two pots of  airplane plants.....or sometimes they are called spider plants.

See my pink metal pig in the "flower bed" on the other side of the walk way?    I have a regular farm out in the back yard!

Here is a shot from the back side of the flower bed and you can see the sheep's cute little black tail from this side.

I found several sets of sheets   ($1.50 a set)   Saturday at a yard sale that I plan to use to cover the pads I have  for our wooden lounges.     I've used those pads for several years and they need to be freshened up a bit...lol!    I also bought the lit chandy that you see on  the flag pole......$7.....and that included the shades.   What a deal!
