Sometimes I get carried away and put way too much stuff in my tablescapes.....so much that you can't even have a meal on the table...lol! |
When that happens, we have our meal at the family dining room table and then head out to the formal dining room for dessert. |
As you can see, there is only room for a cup of coffee and a piece of apple pie left on this tablescape! |
The centerpiece of my Halloween tablescape is a skeleton....not a scary skeleton, but a happy skeleton |
You can tell he's a good skeleton by the big smile on his face....... |
Not only is he a happy skeleton, he's also a very romantic one too! He has a rose in his mouth...... |
and a rose bud balanced on the bottom of his foot. |
I have him placed on a mirror with fairy lights reflecting all around him..... |
His motto is.....Happiness is something you decide ahead of Time! |
I used a silver dish as a easel for my happiness plaque..... |
He has a bouquet of roses at his side. I didn't see a girl skeleton so I guess the bouquet is for me! |
I'm serving coffee/ or tea with my apple pie...... |
The floral design on the table is simply baby's breath in a silver coffee pot..... |
Don't you love his top hat! |
I bet you're wondering where that apple pie I talked about is! I almost forgot to get a picture of it......in fact, I had already cut several pieces before I remembered. |
Love H!!!! You guys are just perfect together!!! I just noticed that in the kitchen, you have tied a cup to the handle of the basket of plates. I have replicated that but just have cups laying in the basket in front of the plates. I'm going to have to tie one to the handle. So sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the top hat....I would use that in a Christmas vignette also. The pie looks so good. Love the horse painting. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeletePenny, you think of everything! I just love this table scape. So whimsical!
ReplyDeleteI honestly must say I have never seen a smiling skeleton before. First time for everything, and he even brought you a boooquet of flowers what a gentleman. I have a wonderful husband but he has never made me an apple pie which is my favorite pie of all. I wouldn't mind one bit if all I could have was coffee and pie at my dinning table. The table decor is just so fun to look at.
ReplyDeleteThe smiling skeleton is fantastic! The tablescape is gorgeous
