And the Stockings were Hung

Does anyone else have a "hoard" of Christmas stockings!      As styles have changed over the years,    I have bought new stockings to hang on the fireplace.     I need to get rid of some of them   but there are too many memories attached!

As I went thru my tote of years past stockings picking out the ones to use this year,       I hated to just put the left overs back in there.     So I decided to hang them on the window frame in the hallways.....and a few other places that  I'll share at the end of my post.

I filled my stockings with treasures that I've saved over the years.......

This fuzzy pink bear belonged to Kyleigh.......

This little baby is snuggled down in her stocking taking a nap......

I've let the kids play with this little girl to much.......

Her hair is a mess!

I hung a simple sign on the mirror.......

Where's my Present?

On the wall across from the "window stocking hanger",    I have a piece of metal that I can hang little sayings or pictures on.

I hung one of my Santa heads from the nail the metal piece is hung on......

Then I used magnets to attach some sweet printables that I found at Keryanne's blog.....Shabbyartboutique

I haven't shared the wall in the entry way that is at the end of the hall,    and Christmas is fast approacing!    Is time getting away from anyone else?

I have shared the  Christmas count down that I have hung on the coat hanger tree at the other end of the hall

I don't think I've shared the simple vignette on the table in the hallway.

I hung H's and my stockings on the ladder in the family room..................

What will Santa put in our stockings?

I hung my Victorian stockings on the fireplace in the master bedroom

And lastly,    part of my collection of ballet stockings are hung in Kyleigh's bedroom.

  1. LOL- I finally felt guilty enough that I gave some to my kids and took several down to St. Vincent DePaul and donated them. I am freeing myself of more and more as we will be moving in Spring---Lord willing- xo Diana
