When we entertain during the Christmas holidays, I always like to shut the TV off and have some soft Christmas music playing softly in the background. |
I not only turn the TV off, I cover it up too! |
Off............................................................On |
Anyway, back to my shelf. I have done all the Christmas decorating I'm going to do, and somehow this shelf got left out. |
Since Christmas is just a few days away, I decided to create a Winter vignette in the shelf. |
This decor should last me until early March or so....... |
See, easy peasy! Merry Christmas! |
Very beautiful! love it!
ReplyDeleteI still have a tv in an armoire too. I paid a lot of money for it and I like it as a piece of furniture! I love your curtain idea. And actually, I like that yours is painted white. Mine is a dark walnut and I do like it, but I think I might just like the white better.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteOnly you would decorate your TV armoire and use a cover to hide the TV and I say this as a compliment! Our Living room TV is always on ...even yesterday when i had a family party! We had it set to a station that plays Christmas music and then gives little tid bits about the music and the artist being played!!

Deb
Penny, I love your armoire with the curtain. What a cleaver idea to hide the TV. I love your little shelf above the TV. I have two armoires. One is a computer armoire and the other can have a TV or clothing as it has a removable rod in the top. I think the never go out of style. I do love your idea of white furniture it opens up a room. You have so many great ideas. Ok, where's the I Love Lucky camper as it would be cute on top of the TV.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work.
Leona
So easy peasy?!? You are very inventive!!!!

I love this idea! Screens are such a distraction and focal point, I think it's great to hide them more often. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy TV is in an armoire too! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
