Decorating my Santos for Autumn

I like to add little hints of fall all around the house.  On this short wall in the entry, I have a cupboard that holds crystal  my Santos, and a collection of crosses.

I am decorating the Santos like a cloche. I put a stack of three sweater pumpkins that I made in her body.  You can pick up sweaters with a small stain on them at yard sales, cut um up, and make pumpkins!  To continue on with the pink and yellow theme in the entry, I added some doilies.  Here is the link to the other wall in the entry that is done in pink and yellow

I have bought some of my crosses in the Christmas section of HL.

This black enamel cross is one of my favorites.  Sometimes I even wear it myself on a chain! I got 3 strands of wooden beads at a yard sale the other day (.75 for all) . I hung them on the clothes line and sprayed them white

The crosses are hung on an old cabinet door.

And here is my Santos, in all her autumn splendor!

  1. Beautiful! I love the pink cross with the little bird on it. Is it porcelain, ceramic or enamel over metal? It's lovely.
