Halloween is a Hoot

I did a  Halloween vignette on the desk in the entry. This desk was originally a dark wood.   I painted it white, distressed it, and put on new drawer pulls.



You may recognize the oil lamp on the left, it is in an earlier post I did this past summer. It was gold when I bought it at a yard sale... I have since painted it white. 

It is very ornate

I sat it on a mosaic pedistal and filled it with grass..put an owl in it...and I have a theme for the vignette

Halloween is a Hoot!  Cute little silver tray the I  sprayed with blackboard paint.

I have added some black birds to the vignette that I got at the $1 shop.  And, my caged owl is from HL.


I just love this creepy gauze!

    Everything looks beautiful as always!! I so love the touches of Black. I am dying to do a silver tray like you did with the black board paint but I am still busy ripping apart my Living Room to make room for the new TV stand.....UGH!!
