American Rose Dishes

 

I bought this set of dishes at the auction a couple of months ago.     At the time I bought them,  I did a post for a tea party that one of my blogging friends was having,  so I only showed the teapot, sugar, and creamer.

I finally had a chance to use them in a tablescape and wanted you to see the other gorgeous pieces that were in the box.

The gold on them is 22ct.....

The dishes are made by Paden City Pottery and the pattern name is American Rose.

Here is the teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl that you saw in a previous post.....

I Googled this pattern at Replacements. com and was shocked to see how much each piece sold for!   I paid $55 for the box!

I showed the new arched window/door room divider from the other side in a previous post.....this is how it looks on the dining room side.    The wood on the arch is painted white on the side that faces the family room...so I think we will paint this side white as well...later!

My sweet deer are ready for dinner....

I found this cute hat for Hartley at a yard sale last week for .50.....I think he looks very dapper!

I added a touch of whimsy by hanging a tea cup from the antlers.....
