| There was a young girl...maybe 16...selling some of her Barbies at her mothers yard sale. When I say some....I mean ALOT! She probably had 300 Barbies! They were all priced from $3 to $10....most still NIB. |

| Of course, I was thinking ahead to Christmas and how I might use some new figures ( Kyleigh said I could borrow them...lol) in my Nutcracker and I love the Ballet themed trees that I have done in past Christmas's. This is the tree that was in the entry way Christmas 2013. This photo shows the only ballet Barbie that I had until Friday!!! |

ReplyDeleteI can't believe the price you paid for the Barbies - AMAZING SCORE!!!!! I have purchased many Barbies for my niece when she was much younger and none cost less than $35.00 each, so you got quite the bargain. Your tree is going to look lovely - and it's not too early to start planning. I went to Hobby Lobby today and all of their trees are up & decorated and they have several aisles all of Christmas - which got me trying to decide on my own holiday decorating for this year.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! As a young girl, I loved my Barbie and Skipper dolls. I had one of the original Barbie Dream houses and car!! Wish I had them now as they are worth a fortune!! These dolls are just adorable, Penny! My daughter dances, so we've had to buy any dancer doll that we've found. I love that set of three sisters--too cute!

ReplyDeleteI had a ballerina Barbie and she was my favorite. I used to want to grow up and be a ballerina. Later when I got my own house the first ornament I got for the tree was Clara from the Nutcracker. I later went to see the ballet too, it was magical.
