Let's make some Lemon Zucchini Cookies! |
We have squash running out our ears at this time of the summer season, we are giving it away, eating alot of it.......and baking goodies to put in the freezer. |
Isn't this cookie jar the cutest thing? There is a link to the site where you can order one at the end of my post..... |
I drizzled a lemon glaze on the ones that we are serving this afternoon, but I left the ones for the cookie jar plain. |
I made my cookies with these sweet Mason Jar Measuring cups and spoons...... |
Here are all the individual pieces. These also came from Cost Plus World Market. |
We have several squash vines around the yard, but the real producers are in the vintage washing machines that we have at each end of the clothes line. |
You can barely see the wringer thru the beautiful leaves. |
We are going to serve a little snack on the kitchen counter this afternoon... |

Such a sweet summer vignette, Penny, and how could it not include something made with zucchini! That has to be the most prolific veggie around. I have some of those same cute pieces from World Market. I use both the cookie jar & the utensil jar for utensils next to the stove top. I have the measuring cups, too. The are just so cute!
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing these at World Market wondering if I'd ever actually use them. Seeing them now makes me want to head over there and order!

ReplyDeletePenny...it has taken me over a week to track your blog down....As a result this this post, I ordered the Mason Jar measuring cups and spoons, and I'm so pleased with them! I ran to our Tuesday Morning to see if they had the Mason paper plates, and they did not. I searched the internet to see if I could find a source, but had no luck. I even emailed a couple of other bloggers, as I couldn't remember where I had seen them....and I found you just now! Would you even CONSIDER selling me one plate of the Mason designs? Or would you CONSIDER making color copies of them for me? I would be MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY FOR THEM!!!! Or...would you send me photos in my email and I can enlarge them myself? I'd be sooooo appreciative if you would. THANKS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSend me your Email address and I'll be happy to email you a photo....hugs....
DeletePenny, I don't know if you received my reply.....I had asked you to send me photos of the MASON JAR paper plates. Nothing fancy required...just a good photo so I can enlarge them. THANKS!
