Adding Curb Appeal to a Utility Trailer

This is our little utility trailer that has been on so many "Longest Yard Sales" and when not in use,  we park it in front of the house.   To give it some curb appeal,   we screw a window  on the side  and  put  a faux door to the side of the window.

I added more curb appeal with some seating and yard decor.
When we finally retire our little trailer,      I would like to turn the inside into a "She Shed"

The trailer sets to the side of the front porch.

On the left is how she looked in 2015 and the right photo is her new look for 2016.
We had a blizzard in December and the wind was so strong it blew the bench over....then we had another strong wind about a month ago that did the same thing.    We solved that problem by moving the bench from beside the trailer to under the window.....now let's see that wind blow her over....lol!

The fabric also needed to be replaced......

I just happened to have a yard sale sheet in the closet.    If you follow my blog,  you know that sheets are my "go to" fabric!

I decided to add a "coffee table" this year.    It is a vintage roll away that I gave our daughter many years ago.   She wanted rid of it,  so I brought it back home.    It's perfect to serve tea on.....or maybe a little snack in the chicken feeder!   (just kidding about serving food in the chicken feeder)

I have a tea cart between the bench and chair.....

I have a picnic basket ready for H and I to eat our lunch in the yard today.

Speaking of H!   See his trailer in the photo....you can spot the wheel in the top left side....

While I'm working on my post,  H is trimming some of the tree's......

Our neighbor parks his camper under the tree's and we don't want to take a chance that it could be scratched  by low tree limbs   We just love our neighbors and I wouldn't want to see Gary cry if his trailer got scratched

H and I are going to spend the day working in the front yard.   My project for the afternoon is to add some curb appeal to our pony buggy.....be back soon to show you the progress!

  2. You are always so busy...No one would ever guess that is a trailer in your front yard, lol. Must have been some wind to blow that bedpost bench over...wow, I thought we were windy in Chicagoland. I know I pulled our glass top table under the eaves last night because of wind and hail-=--yes, hail. Still contending with it's Spring and NOW it's NOT!, thanks looks wonderfull, Sandi
