I created my fall front door wreath using some of the gorgeous field flowers that are available here in Eastern New Mexico this time of year. |
You will see these pretty yellow flowers lining the highway as well as large fields of them |
I selected some ribbon from the fall section at HL that had deer on it. |
H painted some small pumpkins pink for me.....forgot the before photo, but they were white. |
The land is very flat here in Eastern New Mexico, so you can see "as far as the eye can see" |
I shared my Miss Autumn in an earlier post, if you missed that one here is a link to it.......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/09/fall-front-porch.html |
I made a couple of changes this morning......I added pink shutters, moved the goat, added a pink bow to Miss Autumn, lowered the blackboard on the wall, and put a rug in front of the door.. |
I am hoping to decorate the front porch mantel today or tomorrow, so I'll see you soon! Please visit my side bar to see "Where I Party" and stop by and visit a few of these great blogs! |
Penny your wreath is beautiful! Hugs
ReplyDeleteLynn is right! Your wreath is just beautiful. Did you spray it with hairspray or clear lacquer? Was wondering how you keep them from wilting. It's been so hot here that I haven't done anything with fresh flowers. Something to be said for the South West isn't there?? :) Everything looks so cozy and inviting.
ReplyDeletep.s. That ribbon you used is the cutest I've seen in a long time! PERFECT!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreath!

I love how the yellow flowers/Black Eyed Susan brighten up the wreath and the fall color looks really nice mixed with the other items on your porch. How do you keep them so fresh looking? Did you use tubes for water? Really nice and welcoming porch!

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteThe wreath is perfect with the pretty wild flowers and the pink pumpkins!! You are right in that the land is very flat there. Makes for such a pretty photo of the wildflower field!! I am looking forward to our mountains starting to turn the beautiful colors of Fall even though they are predicting that it may be a bit dim because of the dry Summer...
Hugs,
Deb
