Home for the Holidays

I have been posting Christmas pictures of the kitchen .....where the theme is Home for the Holidays.....so   It should come as no surprise to any of you that follow my blog that the theme for pretty much the whole house is No Place like Home for the Holidays!

You may remember that I gave this Victorian home a make over back in the summer.    If you missed that post,   click on this link......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/08/victorian-pink-lady-house.html

I have fairy lights scattered around the inside of the  house but it's hard to see them

I have filled the little cubbies in my wall shelves with Santa heads and other fun Christmas stuff that I have collected over the years.

My mother and I collected Santa heads for years so there are duplicates of several of them.

I made this lit garland last year for the fireplace mantel in the family room.     I wanted to put it somewhere different this Christmas,  so it found a home in the entry way.

I tied rag strips to a string of icicle lights to make my garland ....easy peasy.....

I have my collection of sheep on the top shelf ,   but I think they may find a permanent home somewhere else before I am done decorating for Christmas

I still have two more walls to decorate in the entry way so I'm not done yet.

I love Christmas and like to take my time decorating so I always start early!
