Winter Tablescape

Brrrrr,   baby it's cold outside!    The snow and cold weather put me in the mood to do a winter tablescape on the table in the family room.

My centerpiece was quick and easy.........a small wreath,   mercury glass bowl filled with pom poms and pearls,  4 rose sprays,  a few pine cones,  and two faux bird seed balls.

The wreath has the prettiest ice crystal leaves on it......

I shopped the house for some of the winter decor at each place setting...............

The birds are borrowed from  the mantle in the master bedroom......

I took down the Christmas tree in the family room today and the bird seed balls were on it,  so I added them to the place settings and centerpiece.

The round lacey chargers were borrowed from the kitchen where I was using them as burner covers......

The square metal ceiling tiles were in the kitchen,  but all of that stuff that was on the counter is in boxes while we put up the new back splash......

I also shopped the house for the decor on the buffet in front of the window.....

The pom pom wreath and birch candles were in the hallway.     The mason jar candle holders are left over from our grand daughters wedding and were on the top of the piano.

The pillows that are in the chairs were on the sofa in the formal living area.     When you shop the house,   it's easy to put every thing back where it was after dinner is over.

If you look thru the pass thru,   you can see that the kitchen counters are clutter free as we put up the new back splash.

If you look thru the window you can see the few inches of snow that we got here in Eastern New Mexico,  but we sure got the cold temps    It's supposed to return to normal this week with temps in the 60's so I'm doing the happy dance!

  5. So beautiful and feminine. Love the silvers, pinks and white. Also like how the birch pattern in the pillows is similar to the birch candles.

  18. You did a great job with your winter tablescape. I feel an antique but elegant vibe when I look through your pictures. Using pieces of decor from different parts of the house is a great idea. You were able to find what you needed without spending additional money on the tablescape. I can only imagine how great a spring or summer tablescape would look.
