I try to change the flower bed in front of the green house up just a little bit each year. This spring I thought a water feature might be just what I was looking for. |
The last couple of years I have had metal farm animals in the flower bed so I moved them to another part of the yard and put some geese in front of the flower bed. These geese belonged to my dad. |
I wanted to make a Duck Pond out of it for the decoys that belonged to my dad. |
I have a solar water pump in it. Today I just have it gurgling since the wind is up a little, but it has several attachments to make it spray. |
H mowed the yard this morning and it is so pretty this spring. |
The flocks are up about knee high....... |
The sun is starting to set so most of the yard is in the shade of all the big trees we have. |
H built the greenhouse in the spring of 2014 and we've made changes over the years. |
2015 |
Not much change in 2016 |
In 2017 the pink head board was starting to fall apart so it was replaced in 2018 with a white wrought iron fence |
And here's my 2019 flower bed! |
I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back again soon! |
Just love the decoys and the lovely entrance you have created, now we can see your greenhouse! It will be fun to photo at dusk when the lights are on. We have nothing up yet...so it's fun to see some green!

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your lovely back yard. I do like the watering tank for the water feature. They make great raised planting beds too. How wonderful you still have your dad's decoys. I do like your little fairy land green house.
Happy Easter. I do hope you get to enjoy all your family. I can't believe this weekend is Easter. Here we are at May's front door. The year is nearly half over???????
