I have a lot of white furniture in our home as well as tons of white decor.....how can I add Fall warmth with all that white? |
I have had a love affair with copper for years and it can quickly add fall warmth to a room. I especially love the way it pops when mixed in with generous amount of white |
I decided to use my copper / white technique in the big built in cabinet in the family dining room and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. |
Autumn is truly the year's last, loveliest smile don't you think? |
The centerpiece in the fall cabinet is a white metal vase filled with hydrangia's that I recently picked up at a yard sale for $8 |
The vase came with all the Hydrangia's but of course I had to add a few touches of my own. |
The fall leaves and white flowers are my contribution to the floral design.... |
Moving on down the the right side of the cabinet..... |
The tall brass candle stick is a recent yard sale purchase....it's very very heavy! |
More copper and white on this side of the cabinet..... |
The Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast sign came from Dollar General..... |
Now I want to share some photo's of other fall rooms in my home and how my white / copper technique is working out for me...... |
The family room is at the far end of the dining area......so, I have to keep them both in harmony with each other....lol |
I have the fireplace in the family room decorated for fall with colors that go well with the pops of copper in the dining area. I may yet add a couple of small copper pieces to the fireplace..... |
Here's the entry....... |
I love the copper and the white, Penny. You've inspired me to get mine out and use it this fall!
