Chicken Skeletons and a new Roof for the Greenhouse

We had a bad hail storm a few months ago and our greenhouse sustained substantial damage to the roof.

We had to remove everything around the greenhouse while they were putting on the new roof.    In case you are curious,   we have a big area behind the studio that we call the junk yard....that's where we store all the wagons,  bikes,  etc when not in use as yard art...lol!

I just left all of it in the junk yard and went for a cleaner look next to the greenhouse for fall and winter....

It has been so hot in our area over the summer that we haven't spent much time just sitting around in the yard.    But now that fall has arrived,    it's in the low 70's....no wind.....and plenty of sunshine so we are relaxing in the yard pretty often...

I put out a few Halloween decorations for us to enjoy while we are in the yard.....

My chicken skeletons can't help but put a smile on your face.....

Our ferns are doing well....they didn't die of a heat stroke over the summer....

My cute chickens can be found at Tractor Supply.....I have not been compensated for letting you know that!

The blingy spiders are hanging out with the skeleton chickens....

Every roof on our property was damaged and had to be replaced,   so that's kind of how our summer went.....glad it's behind us!
