There aren't any place settings at this holiday table...I wouldn't think of eating on this tablecloth! |
This is one of the first Santa heads I bought...quite a few years ago! |
Each little poinsettia petal...sewn on by hand! |
This tablecloth hangs nearly to the floor, but I wanted the decorative work to be on top of the table... I bunched up the excess net in the center of the table and pleated excess on the sides. |
Each pleated side has a bow with sequins in the center and felt leaves.. |
I have a few bottle brush trees that I decorated with balls and jewelry. |
I have a Santa head at each corner.... |
Fairy godmother ornament... |
I hope you enjoyed my Christmas table...come back soon! |

Good lawd - look at all the needlework on that tablecloth! You just gave me a great idea for a pretty pink tablecloth I just received as a gift exchange. It has a couple of small stains but I could cover those with some beading ...

ReplyDeleteI have done my share of stitching. Knowing how much work goes into each piece, it has always troubled me that those works of art and love sell for so little in the antique shops. I am glad you bought this beautiful tablecloth! I want to believe the lady who made it appreciates that you treasure her artistry.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
