I started with a plain brown Creche ...sorry I forgot to get a before photo. H spray painted it with a silvery white paint. |
I covered part of the roof with a piece of my favorite wide shimmery lace, it's the same lace you have seen me use on the fireplace mantle. |
Sheep, angels, and a gold/silver Joseph, Mary , and baby Jesus..... |
I glued silver architectural pieces to the fence.... |
I set a gold tree topper over a vintage drip oil can... |
On the left side is a gold and silver angle keeping watch over the baby..... |
and on the right side is a gold and silver Mary holding the baby Jesus.... |
So pretty :) The Creche sets the stage perfectly well.

ReplyDeleteAdorable! Penny you always inspire me, the only problem is I have a hard time making up my mind on what to do first.....Smile.

This is stunning and so much inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI've done NOTHING toward Christmas..not a card addressed..not a wreath hung, no stocking hung by the chimney with care. Nothing. Fall decor is still everywhere..Orange, orange, orange. You..are..putting me in the Christmas mood, Penny! Thank you. I needed all the pretties to shove me into at least planning and now I think of you every time I practice Silver and Gold. :) I'm practicing my Christmas music for Christmas. Giving that piano a work out..and poor PH probably wants to strangle me. It's all lovely. It ALWAYS is. You are so creative.
ReplyDeleteI love your nativity. We collect nativity sets in my home but I really like the idea of "collecting" and nativity set from things already in my home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, sentimental Nativity set. Definitely helps capture the heart behind Christmas.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, I love it! I like how you out together your own vintage look. :) I have similar looking cherubs tucked away from my wedding cake. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty
