We seldom used the table and chairs that were in the kitchen, so I thought that space could be put to a better use with a buffet to store dishes, glasses, and misc kitchen stuff. I looked everywhere for a vintage buffet to fit the space and had the storage that I wanted....no luck. So, I asked H if he thought he could custom make me one and of course he said yes....gotta love that guy!

Penny!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, my friend!! You are SO lucky that H is so handy!! Joe is good in other ways like being an expert shopper but handy, he is not....Sigh! I guess we can not have everything, right??? LOL!!
LOVE that fabric!! So pretty ! Are the drawers on rolls so you can just roll them out?????? Now that would be great!!
I have all of Christmas down in the Dining Room now and I am putting that room back together......
The kitchen is all that is left to undecorate for now..I am not worried about the upstairs..... Joe says to leave it up year round!! LOL!!
Hugs,
Deb
It looks like you 2 are having a blast in the Kitchie!!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a great idea. It will look nice when you make the skirt with the fabric. Are the stenciled drawers on rollers or wheels to make it easier to move them?
ReplyDeleteCLEVER man! Between the two of you...everything just turns into pure charm! SO sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and romantic!
ReplyDeleteLove it all!
ReplyDeleteThis was really a smart idea! Loved the fabric you chose! Your home is very sweet and looks well loved!
