My Give Thanks sign is a reminder that we should all be grateful for the freedom we enjoy in America. |
I found my spring Saturday at a yard sale........ |
The whole baby bed was only $7.50......what a deal! I have a project in mind to use the bed as yard art. |
The sheet also had some pastel colored flowers in it. |
It was a simple project that didn't take very long. I just ripped 2 inch pieces of fabric and wove them thru the springs. |
I saved all the pieces that I cut off the ends and tied them all together. I tied all of them to the top left corner of the flag for a little added touch. |
Here's a peek into the china cabinet....... |
I wanted to share the Patriotic place mats that I am using on the table. |
I bought them a few weeks ago at Walmart for a couple of dollars each. |
They are vinyl for easy cleaning and are also reversible. |
Have a wonderful week ahead! |
I can't get enough of your posts. Thanks Following along from Coastal Bohemian and Inspire Me Monday Link Party and Tuesday Brag Party
ReplyDeletePenny, I am so in love with that china cabinet. How many doors are on the bottom ?

What a creative idea. I never would have thought of making a flag out of baby crib springs in a million years. I am awed by the way you look at things--very cool.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your newest creations. The flag is very cute! I love how you take a traditional idea, add the pink/cream colors/flowers you love, and create something so amazing. It fits right in with your shabby chic decor but still conveys that traditional feel of the item! You are so clever and creative!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable. I have an old crib spring around here. You are just full of the best ideas.
