2018 Christmas Home Tour

I'm gong to start my 2018 Christmas home tour in the family room since that's where  we  spend the most time,   especially during  the holidays.

I designed a farmhouse barn for the Christmas  mantel this year and H made it come to life for me.......he can do anything!

I made new Christmas slip covers for the sofa and love seat this year.

This is the family dining room,    there is also a formal dining room that I'll share later in the tour.

I love my lit  built in display cabinet.      It used to be a dark pine color,    I like it so much better with the coat of white paint it got a few years ago.

My white recliner is on the left and H's is on the right side of the photo.     If you look down at the far end of the family room,    you can see the opening to the sun room.

The sun room opens up to a deck on one side and out into the backyard on the right side of the room.

The next room on the tour is the kitchen.......it is truly the heart of our home.

It's a really nice size and the big island in the center is a perfect place for the family to gather around it and cook together.

I have a little corner in the kitchen where I have put up a Christmas tree the last few years.

Here's the other side of the kitchen,.

When you come out of the kitchen,    you can make a left and go down the hall to the bedrooms or go straight thru the entry and out the front door.

For the tour,   we'll go down the hallway to the bedrooms........

The first bedroom you come to is Kyleigh's        She's our 11 year old grand daughter that we keep several days a week .       Our daughter is a RN and her dad is a railroader,    so they both work long odd hours.

Ky has her room done in a Boho style and decided not to decorate it for Christmas this year.

The next room you come to is the hall bath.

The last room on that side of the hall is a guest room.

We weren't having any overnight company this Christmas,   so I didn't decorate it

Here's the master bedroom........

The master bath........

Now,   we'll go down the other side of the hallway.

Past the utility room........

and into the entry!

The formal dining room opens into the entry.

And that is where we'll end the tour and go out the front door.

I hope you enjoyed my 2018 Christmas home tour.       It's been a pleasure to have you stop by during the year and I hope you'll  visit often in  2019

H and I want to wish  each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
