Easter Buffet

I have amassed a pretty large collection of Easter decor over the past 40 years.    I also inherited some beautiful pieces from my mother too........

I find myself using my favorite pieces year after year......

Still,    I like to freshen things up a bit with a new piece or two....maybe 3.....lol!

This year I freshened things up by framing some bunny prints I found on Pinterest.     It's so easy just to print them off on my home printer.

Here's the new Mr & Mrs prints.......

New Easter flowers this year are these beautiful spring blossoms that I found at Hobby Lobby.

I have been busy decorating the formal dining room for our family's Easter dinner

Here's some close ups of the other side of the buffet.     Isn't Mrs Bunny gorgeous!

I made a special centerpiece for the dining room table.

I put some touches of Easter decor on this side of the room too.....

I added a ribbon bunny pillow to the existing chair.

I've had my pillow for years,   but I noticed that Michaels had some ribbon pillows a few days ago.

Below are some close ups of how I decorated the top of the white cabinet......

I decorated this side of the room similar to the side you just saw.

You can barely see the bunny pillow in the chair thru the flowers .

Now......that's better!

And,   here's the cabinet on the other side of the room.

I shared all the details in an earlier post on my Cottontail Farm cabinet in the corner

After I decorate the faux fireplace,    the dining room will be finished and I will give you a complete tour!

I enjoy your visits so much,   please come back soon!

  3. Penny, The bunnies you framed a precious beyond belief. The little bunny with what looks like to me a sailor suit with a little crown or hat. They are all so charming and fun.
That milk glass, hobnail, shoe candy dish is the gorgeous. I have never seen one that large or with a lid. You must have inherited it from your mother. I buy every piece of milk glass I can find now that I see how you display yours. I have had some pieces for years. I do love milk glass. People don't appreciate the artistry that goes into glass works like in the past. We used to have some magnificent glass companies in United States. There still are two or three.
Thanks for sharing your home and the beauty of your talent.
