To get the biggest bang for my buck, I use rag wreaths and garlands a lot when decorating our home. |
For my Buffalo rag wreath I used a Dollar Tree wreath form, less than half of a $2 yard sale white sheet, and about a half yard of trending buffalo check fabric that I bought on sale at Hobby Lobby. |
To make my wreath, I tore strips of fabric about an inch and a half wide and 36"s long. I simply tied my fabric onto the wire form....and then tied a big bow. |
I have to admit that rag wreaths and garlands can be pretty time consuming....... |
I save those kinds of projects for when I'm sitting at my work space in the evenings. |
Yep, this white leather recliner is where I do a lot of my work. |
I edit and write all my posts from this chair...... |
I have a trash can, kleenex, and a cutting board in my work space. I use the cutting board like a lap tray.......I've even been known to eat my supper on it....lol! |
I can even watch TV from my chair while I work on hand projects. |
I have been amazed at how much work I can get done from my small work space..... |
I love your work space...because it is family space too. You have done a fabulous job decorating. I love buffalo plaids so much. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteGood morning Penny, You are so funny and cleaver. You even created a great work space.
ReplyDeleteWell, after all the hard work you do, you need a quiet work space to relax.
Thanks for all your great talent that you share with us.

I love all the touches with buffalo plaid, nice addition.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the pillow with the buffalo check cow on it. Where did you get the pattern? I am quite into cow collecting lately and would love to make something similar.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job decorating your space.
ReplyDeleteI love that combination of black and pink buffalo check in your decor - very pretty! Thanks for sharing with us at The Blogger's Pit Stop!
ReplyDeleteIt's not the size of the crafting space Penny, but what you can do in it.... and it sounds like you have everything you need right there. How perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing all your gorgeousness at Create, Bake, Grow and Gather this week.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
You are amazing and I love your work area and everything you make and decorating. I work from my kitchen table on my laptop! Happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreath and fantastic work space, Penny. And to think I only use my recliner to rest my neck and shoulder! lol Thank you for sharing at Party In Your PJ's.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteI love that you consider your work space the area in and around your recliner!! That is great!! I download pictures to my main tower computer and then I edit them and load them to my blog and then I do my editing of my posts using my lap top which I either sit with in the Living Room or out in the Den if Joe is watching hockey or football.....
Hugs,
Deb
I do a lot of blogging from my recliner too. So comfortable. Thanks for sharing.
