The photo on the right was taken mid summer, but I was still cutting roses from these bushes 3 days ago! The grass was still green yesterday, but the leaves had turned on the tree. |

Well, as much as I DON'T LIKE snow- I will admit that this is pretty gorgeous. Your yard looks beautiful all dressed for winter- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWow - you sure did get a lot of snow. We haven't even seen that much here in Ontario, Canada yet. It always looks so beautiful when it first arrives. And I love the little cuties that are posted today. I didn't know you had cats, Penny. They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFor this Florida native, that is beautiful !!!
ReplyDeleteSo much prettier when someone else has to deal with the cold and wet... lol. Thanks for sharing at MM. :)
ReplyDeleteOur yards look the same! I don't mind snow right up until Christmas and then that's enough. I see lots of cupcake decor at your place.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous snow scenes! And is it a little early for where you live? Even here in the south we have a prediction for possible snow this week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow pictures!!! It looks so fresh and clean! Wishing you well!
ReplyDeleteI love the before snow and after snow shots of the garden. Wishing you a blessed week, Jen
ReplyDeletePenny I just love the pictures! Nothing prettier than the First Snow! Love your kitty, we had a cat in England and at the time the snow was up to the windowsill. Mom would open the window and the cat would jump out to go to the bathroom, we could always tell where he was under the snow because steam would come up above the snow where ever his was going LOL!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the same storm we got, but we had 16 inches. It sure is pretty though, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty, pretty snow scenes. I love the way snow softens the landscape. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour snow photos are nice but I like also the photo of cat Pea!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Holland.

Oh, I do not mind pictures of snow but hope we do not get any or I will be home bound! Lovely for you! I love comparisons of seasonal looks in your yard!
ReplyDeleteChe meraviglia! Magica neve!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures Penny. On the downside this weather is moving our direction just in time for Thanksgiving and we usually get ice and snow, not just pretty snow!
ReplyDeleteOh, your place looks so beautiful! I hope you're keeping warm :) Your Christmas tree is lovely, too, love the colors. Goes great with the McCoy bowl. -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks so pretty!

Lovely, lovely. I hope we get Christmas snow in England this year. One year I flew in and the next day there was so much snow that the whole country was grounded. That was a glorious Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are gorgeous! Im in Indiana and snow is a "given" every year, and I have to admit...I like it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but then I always wish it would go away. :) But I DO always marvel at how pretty it looks. We are farmers and the snow is good for the ground and crops the following spring and summer. So...I shouldn't complain. So...I will stop that. But anyway, your photos are so beautiful. And I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteYour home is charming in the growing season and wintry white. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour home is unbelievable! I didn't know it ever snowed that much in New Mexico!
ReplyDeleteWonderful landscape! I love snow, but here where I live in South of France, we have not a lot!!!! Is it usual to have snow where you live???
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so beautiful like this and you've so cute cats!
Hugs and kisses
Wow! Look at these breathtaking scenes! Absolutely beautiful! I have never experienced snow.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so beautiful as is your yard. Mom says that she really enjoyed the juxtaposition between the summer and fall photos. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteLove it and adore the photos of your gorgeous kitties.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving from one cat lady to another ;)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Beautiful. Love the shot out your window with your Christmas tree. Such a stunning vignette. <3
ReplyDeleteAll we've gotten is rain in Maine! Well ok, we did get a dusting of snow but it melted very quickly, leaving slush in its wake.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful,I love snow but unfortunately no snow here in my country.old follower
ReplyDeleteHope you can visit my Wordless Wednesday
E' meravigliosa!!Come vorrei che nevicasse anche quì!
ReplyDeleteDusting of snow, wow, amazing photos they are all so beautiful, sometimes I'm a little shy to let on that I love Winter and the soft shadows the snow leaves us for picture taking each day. It is such a transition to go from clipping roses to shoveling snow in a few hours. I love the view from your kitchen both out and the cookies that are about to be made. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Penny, but I'm glad it's not here yet. It will be here soon enough. Your last photo could be a Christmas card. Thanks for sharing at my HOME.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Penny!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow shots!! It looks so pristine on all your white things!! Do you leave all of your furniture and yard stuff out all Winter? We never could because of the harshness of our winters here with the temps, snow and ice. I have a chair on the front porch this year as Joe is not smoking in the house since the Remodel and I pray it will survive the Winter and still be in good shape.....
I am almost finished decorating what i plan on decorating this year.... I will not even get the Den done this year which really upset me at first but I am getting over it. I finished the LR tree yesterday and have to do the village yet but I am still deciding if I will put the garland going upstairs.....
I need to relax and enjoy what i DID get done this year.....
I am looking forward to seeing all your decorations....
Hugs,
Deb
All I can say is WOW!!!!
