Week End Treasure Hunt

We had another pretty spring day here in Eastern NM on Saturday,  and H and I took advantage of it by doing some treasure hunting!

I can't seem to pass up anything to do with little lambs....love them.   Everything at this estate sale was half price Saturday afternoon,  so it was a steal at $1.

This plate came from the same sale......$2,

$5 tea pot....

We drove over to Amarillo Texas to do our treasuring hunting Saturday and there are lots of small towns on the way over.   This silver champagne bucket came from an estate sale in Canyon,  Texas where everything was half price Saturday afternoon.....$11

I plan to paint this cookbook holder either pink or cream,   it also came from Canyon Texas....$4

Friona Texas is a small town on the way to Amarillo and H spotted a storage shed sale from the road.   There were two lovely ladies hosting the sale....most of the items came from a shop that they had.   They just wanted rid of everything in the shed and their prices were CHEAP.    Unopened moss packages were .50 cents  each the dried flower packs were also .50.

The section of small springs were $1.
I also bought a Jennylyn style baby bed head and foot board that H hasn't unloaded from the car yet.   You'll see it in a upcoming garden post!

The big Farmhouse pumpkin came from Friona too.....$2

The back door guests sign is from a yard sale many years ago,  but it was all I could find to put on my book holder....lol!

Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week ahead!

  3. Crazy steals, there Penny. We really don't have that many sales around here anymore, and prices are never cheap at those. Great haul, congrats, Sandi

  4. Beautiful haul this Saturday. Everything is so pretty. I really need to give estate sales another try. They just always seem like a lot of large pieces of furniture I can't move. Will try late afternoon on the last day. Thanks for the idea.

  5. Man those are some real finds!! Is that a Sadler teapot? Sure looks like it -- and for that price, that's a real steal.

    1. Lauren, although the pot was in excellent condition, the bottom was so worn that it couldn't be read. It reminded me of a Hall, but it could also be a Sadler....hugs..
