Summer Porch Decorated with Sunflowers, Roses, & Watermelons

My inspirations for our summer porch was a Hello Summer print featuring a picnic in a field of sunflowers and a quilt that I've had for many years

My quilt has a yellow sunflower in the center that blooms out into petals covered with a roses

I created a floral design that has the colors and flowers in the quilt to tie everything together.

So now....I bet you're wondering why I felt the need to add watermelons to the!

There's always a reason to my!

Watermelon is the star of the picnic on a blanket in a field of sunflowers.....

So it make perfect sense to me that watermelon be included in the vignette on the entry buffet.

Now that I've explained how my mind works,    you know that I plan to add sunflowers,  roses,  watermelon AND a picnic basket or 2 to the rest of the porch

I'm frequently asked if I leave my fabric decor out all the time.....most of it I do but in this case the answer is no.    I will bring my quilt and pillows into the house each night or if the weather is bad.

I've had my sunflower pillows a long time.    I found them at Joann's in the after summer clearance aisle several years ago.

Thank you so much for stopping by,   I always enjoy your visits so much!
