Vintage Oil Lamp Base Repurposed into Oil Lamp Vase

I frequently see vintage oil lamp bases at yard sales that are very inexpensive  because they are missing their chimney.     Don't pass those up!

You can find replacement chimneys on the internet OR you can just use them as a vase

I almost think I like them better as a vase instead of as an oil lamp

I decorated a white enamel tray for spring with just a few simple things.....

Of course,   my oil lamp base filled with pink tulips is the highlight of my tray vignette....

The sky is the limit with options to include in your oil lamp vase spring vignette....

But,   I think my favorite way to decorate my tray......

is just with my oil lamp vase.....

And 2 sweet bunnies!
