Another section of kitchen cabinets are finished.....about half of the kitchen is done now! It is a big job, but the results are soooo worth all the hard work. |
The next set of cabinets contain dishes |
H organized the electrical wire in this cabinet as well, and I filled those shelves with dishes that I seldom use. |
I am so pleased with the progress! |
So pretty! I never thought of pink chalkboard paint. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing an amazing job on your kitchen. Never would have thought of doing the insides of the cabinet doors. You are correct, it is a job redoing, but worth in the long run. I need to be doing some of that.
ReplyDeleteLove the pink chalkboard paint. That is a great idea to use it for messages and appointments.
ReplyDeleteI think your pink chalkboard paint is ingenious! I think it's the perfect color...especially for you! I know the troubles and hazards of winter. Here in New England we have a record snow fall this year and a neighboring city had a gas leak that lasted for almost 2 days! I also know what it's like to have "troubled" lower cabinets. I can't wait to see what you have done. I need some inspiration!
ReplyDeletetoo much excitement with a gas leak, glad that was taken care of promptly. How fun that you can make any craft paint a chalkboard. so pretty! wow, you have so much cabinet space. love the ideas for the floral and the chalkboard doors!
ReplyDeletePenny,ti ammiro tanto!Hai pazienza,sei bravissima e piena di idee romantiche!Complimenti!Rosetta
ReplyDeletePenny,

A gas leak!! You are so lucky that you got it fixed fast before something tragic happened!!
Hugs,

What a great idea with the chalk paint. I love your kitchen. It is so pretty. I painted in my cupboards last fall. It was a big job but worth the effort. I have not been home all winter so when I return this Spring, I will enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen. The pink chalkboard doors are so pretty, but that chandelier!!! Oh my ... gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy pinks!
And just when I thought you couldn't find anything else to paint pink! Ha! Yo go girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of jealous of the New Mexico Gas Co. and Denton Heating, etc. ...I would have fixed your gas leak had you called me, just so I could get an up close and personal look at the inside of your home. Aren't the pictures enough?
ReplyDeleteNO! Heavens NO! :) Love the pink chalkboards...how clever! I was checking out all the tiny Easter touches.... (I've GOT to get busy on my Easter decor instead of living vicariously through you! LOL
Hugs,
Mona
Amazing... your kitchen is so 'crafty'... I look at mine in despair... jealous!
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting! Do you have any rooms that aren't pink? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pink chalkboard paint! Very clever idea and the result is fantastic. Your kitchen is such beautiful

We just bought an older home in Alaska and I am doing this to our cupboards! We have 6 children and what a great way to help them remember where everything goes! I love your inspiring ideas. Where do you get a pink coffee maker by the way, I love it! Jeannie at www.teamgerhardt.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh my.... pink chalkboard! That is just the best ever :) And I love how you used it on the inside of your cupboards.

Pretty in pink! Love the new "look" inside your cupboards. I'll bet it makes you want to leave the doors open all the time :) Goodness, a gas leak...that must have been a little scary! I'm so glad they got it fixed with no explosion or fire. Thank you for sharing both of you cupboard posts as well as your pretty bathroom updates at What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Blessings, Deborah
