Ball Jar & Chevron Dishes

I frequently use paper plates to serve our meals on.   Not only are they budget friendly,  but come in so many pretty patterns.....

The plates I am using today came from Tuesday Morning.   I loved the combination of ball jars with a pretty chevron pattern around the edge.

Don't they set a pretty table?

The pink gingham checked tablecloth came from a yard sale,  it is actually a shower curtain...lol!.   It was still in the plastic bag and had never been opened.   It was marked on clearance $29...from Dillards...my cost $3!

When I was photographing the tablescape,   I realized that I had not shown you ......

The wooden buildings that I bought at an estate sale a few months ago.

The adult children of "Shelia" were having an estate sale in her home.   I talked to her daughter about these buildings and found out that her mother had painted them.years ago.   There was quite a collection of them and I was able to purchase a set of 5.

Tuesday Morning also had the matching dessert plates and napkins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  8. I haven't been to Tuesday Morning in a while. Guess I will have to go again soon! Hope I can find some pretty plates like that. With 3 little boys, I use paper plates a lot to save time on washing dishes. ;-)

  10. Hi Penny, We went to two Estate sales today and didn't buy a thing except a few little kitchen tools. Gorgeous things and furniture of the Mission Inn here in our town. No room in our home for things like that..without getting rid of something..and there is nothing I really want to get rid of at the moment. So we came home nearly empty handed.

I too love paper plates and use them from time to time. Yours are beautiful. Those buildings were an especially wonderful find.
Your table settings are always so sweet and this one set with paper plates was especially lovely.
