Casual Sunflower Tablescape for Lunch on the Porch

I created a casual tablescape for our lunch using Sunflower dishes and napkins that I bought at Dollar Tree a couple of years ago.

The last days of summer are always the most beautiful in the back yard.....all the plants are big and lush.

The hanging fern baskets are the biggest I remember seeing in several years.....

The Swedish Ivy pots are beginning to have lots of blooms on them.....

And the hanging Wandering Jew basket is just gorgeous.

Our container plants have done extra well this year too.....

I have noticed that the garden centers are now stocking Mums and other fall plants,   so I look forward to having them in our flowers garden in the next few days.

I always enjoy your visits so much,   please stop by again soon!

  4. Your flowers are so lush and the porch is the perfect place to dine alfresco. Years ago ladies who kept houseplants all had Swedish ivy and wandering Jew. Haven't seen those plants in any of our local shops.

  8. Penny,
Love your deck!! I am always amazed at how you can keep all that fabric outside but I understand that you do not get a lot of rain...We have gotten close to 4 inches of rain in less then a week from Fred and Henri!!And the humidity is considered tropical which is crazy for Pa.!! I really can not wait for this Summer to end!!
    Hugs,
    Deb
